Heyou International Health System (Heyou), founded by Midea Group, is located in Shunde District, Foshan, Guangdong, in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The project covers 580,000 square meters and includes plans for 1,500 beds. Heyou Hospital and Heyou Pinnacle Medical Center IMC are key provincial projects, with a 30% green coverage rate. Working with Heyou, Sunon provided healthcare furniture solutions that align with the hospital’s design, creating a garden-style environment for both physical and mental healing. The space is designed to offer patients a comfortable, healing place for recovery.
01 Garden-Style Hospital
Heyou Hospital’s design focuses on creating a “Greater Bay Area Health Living Room,” blending nature with healing to foster recovery and well-being. The hospital integrates natural light, fresh air, and greenery to create a space that supports recovery and well-being. Patients can enjoy views of lush greenery through large windows, while soft wood tones and warm lighting add to the calming atmosphere. This environment is designed to help both patients and healthcare staff feel more at ease and focused, promoting a faster, more comfortable recovery.
02 Human-Centric Design for Different Healthcare Scenario
From registration to consultation, every step at Heyou Hospital is designed for patient convenience. The warm, comfortable environment consistently leaves a positive impression on patients and their families. In the obstetrics and gynecology waiting area, ergonomic seating with dedicated lumbar support for expectant mothers ensures optimal comfort. In other areas, such as traditional Chinese medicine rooms, Sunon’s single-seater chairs offer privacy and safety, enhancing the overall patient experience.
03 Patient-Centered Design for a Healing Space
Heyou Hospital features separate waiting areas for different departments, each with multiple private consultation rooms to enhance patient safety and privacy. Clean panel lighting with a warm white light helps medical staff clearly and accurately assess patients' conditions. In VIP rooms, special furniture is provided for accompanying family members, such as sofas that transform into foldable caregiver beds, ensuring comfort and attention to detail. As a partner of Heyou Hospital, Sunon helped build a modern healthcare environment focused on patient and family care.
