Mr. Ni grew up in a small village where his father worked for the local government.
In his father's tiny office, there were no more than two pieces of old and cracked office
furniture: a two-drawer writing desk and a wooden chair. When his father worked long
hours, the desk and chair would become wobbly and even pinch him. At that time,
young Mr. Ni thought it would be nice if the furniture were more secure. Thus began
his aspiration to pursue a carpenter career and make beautifully crafted furniture.
As Mr. Ni became skilled in intricate woodworking, he looked for opportunities in a big
city and was hired at a furniture factory. Later, he and his woodworking crew decided to
start a carpentry workshop, eventually leading to the founding of Sunon. “圣奥Sunon”
means sun on, which symbolizes the company rising like the sun and striving for
excellence in products and services.
